Fundraiser for the youth!

It's been kinda busy I had enough time to post some pictures but not much time to write. Tomorrow the Youth from are church are doing a fundraiser by having a car wash, bake sale, and yard sale at a Wal-mart close to us. They are raising money for some of there trips that are coming up and for future events that they will be doing I am excited to go help out and I know dd will have a lot of fun as well! I hope to bake somethings for the bake sale. I have not got to it yet.

Last night I made some sour dough bread for the first time and it turned out really well. Then this morning I went ahead and made a new recipe of biscuits and they turned out really good!

Savannah kept asking to go play with her car this morning but it is wet out side to be playing so she hasn't had her chance to play with it. Right now she is watching Veggie Tales.

Here is Savannah with ZaBoo(Veggie Tales) as she calls it! She really enjoyed they show they put one for the kids or big kids like me....LOL

Trip to Branson

Tuesday

Today's weather is nice. Savannah and I went out side for a little while. She played with her new used car while I went to pick some things out of the garden. It seems like things are dieing but I am still getting things off the plants. I got a few honey dews today and spaghetti squash. I still have not tried the spaghetti squash from our garden but I think it will be good!

Josh is working on his truck right now. It has something wrong in the front end and it throwing off the alignment. The Rodeo is in desperate need of tires so he is trying to get that fix as soon as possible till we can get the tires for it. Which should be soon.

Savannah's Birthday is coming up soon. Time has gone by fast it is hard to believe she will be 2 years old. I have been giving it some thought about the theme for her Birthday and I was thinking to do Veggie Tales like she like soooo much. But now I have also been thinking to some how add Barney in to it too. She gets so tickled when she watches her Barney movie. So who know I just may have it a mix theme. But if anything I think for sure on Veggie Tales! Or as she call it ZaBoo(from the silly song on Joshua and the Big Wall).

We just got a new dog this week and she is a full blooded Pyrenees(misspelled more than likely). Her name is Polar Bear and ahe is all white.

The next dog that has a bit of tan on him is Max. We have had him for about a year and a half. He is half blue tick hound and Pyrenees. Savannah likes to try and ride him like a horse. He dose really well with her.

I have been bad at keeping up with my posts. It was really hot here for awhile and now we have been getting some rain for the past few days. It is really nice because it has cooled it down and it is also watering the garden. The garden has been doing well I have had some things die and some things are fighting there way to stay alive due to bugs, heat, or just not stable enough. I have been canning all kinds of things this year. Last year I had canned a few jars but I have been going all out this year. I even made jam and jelly for the first time. They turned out really good.

Savannah is doing good. She is growing up every day. We have been teaching her the hole concept of what going potty is all about and she has gone to the bathroom twice now. So that tells me she is learning a little more of what it is really all about. She has been helping when it come to doing things around the house, the garden and even cooking. She enjoys helping me make cookie.

Josh is doing well. Staying busy working on the vehicles lately. He surprised me this past Friday with saying we need to go to town and then he let me know we were going to go to the movies. We have not gone out and done something like that in a LONG time. So I ended up getting a friend to watch Savannah while we went on a little date. It was nice for me and him to have some time to our self's for a change.

Well I hope to keep up with the post and to also find or get a new camera so I can post more pictures.
