Sewing is one of my joys

This last pic is a quilt that I did for my niece. I did it a little different than the traditional quilts you may see.

Around Christmas I wanted to do something that might be able to get me some extra money for gifts and I started sewing aprons, pot holders and plastic bag holders. Well a few people were wondering what else I do so I have started my own a little at home business being a seamstress. I was wanting an embroidery machine too. And Josh ended up getting one for me and God really blessed us with one that was about half the normal price and it was barley used. God is so good. So I have been doing some purses now and people are liking them! I like that I can do this as fast as life can allow with me being a stay at home mom and homeschooling oh and some of the other farming going on LOL.

Mager cold front passed through!

A little while back it started to warm up around here and then a cold front came through and gave us 12 inches of snow. Wow I think that now is for sure the most snow we have ever got. I would say this whole winter we have got a lot more snow than we have before which is ok with me because it's not like we are having to deal with it all the time. It sure was funny to see my dog trying to walk through it. It was all the way up to his chest....LOL My friend has really small dogs she said that you could hardly see the top of here dogs head....LOL....LOL and one of them was bouncing through it LOL I wish I could have seen that!

Spring feels so good!

Well today we go to be out side a lot which was nice. We watered our plants in the garden and some of our berry plants with a watering can and Savannah really had a lot of fun doing that. We washed our new vehicle. Joseph keep trying to eat the bubbles in the soapy water it was hard to keep him away from it. Savannah got board of it fast and went off to play...LOL I am so great full I got to transplant my house plants into new soil and Savannah helped out and she didn't get board of that. She kept asking me "what you teaching me mom?". I think that is so cute and funny. I told her how the plants are happy after they got new soil and she told me how the one that didn't get done yet were sad...lol Oh and we got a little sun burnt too. I didn't realize how bad it was till I looked in the mirror.

Joseph is sure liking to crawl on top of the coffee take then stand up and walk across it. I have done different things to keep him down but he just likes it up there :(
Things are going well Because the Lord has made it possible. We have been getting ready for our big garden this year. We did get out some cold weather plants already and some more things should be going out this week as well. We got some different berry bushes this year and looking forward to having them around. We really enjoy fruit around here.

The kids are doing great! Savannah got to sing in front of the church tonight for the first time and she sung Father I adore you and Hallalua. She really liked doing that she even ask if she could do it again. I praise God seeing our little girl serving the Lord. Joseph and be tyring to say little things and even use some sign language. He is a little doll. Joseph likes to go out side and play he has a lot of land to cover out there...LOL It is helpful that he is walking well now since its time for the garden.

Josh is Doing so well he is the Best Dad and Husband. He works so hard at his job and when he comes home he works here at home.

There's more to get caught up on and not a hole lot of time right now but looking forward to posting more to keep everyone more in the loop LOL

Happy Palm Sunday!
